Help improve habitat for wildlife by joining friends on a clean-up event near you!
The California Coastal Commission has information on statewide efforts during the Coastal Cleanup Day on September 21. These efforts are locally coordinated by groups including I Love a Clean San Diego, California Dept. of Parks and Recreation, CALTRANS, chapters of the California Coastkeepers Alliance, local conservancies, cities and government agencies, and others such as chapters of the Sierra Club. These teams are joined globally by others participating in the International Coastal Cleanup Day, organized by the Ocean Conservancy.
